Volunteer – Administration

Administration – Supporting with the administration of the organisation

The Role involves:
As an Administration Volunteer for NOPA you will be supported and supervised by our Administrator who will provide you with work to complete such as :

  • Typing – reports, notes, documents or letters to complete.
  • Minutes – Taking for accurate notes of meetings.
  • Filing – online and hardcopy filing.
  • Updating the diary – ensuring that diaries of all staff are updated and shared.
  • Simple bookkeeping tasks – invoicing, expenses, reconciliations.

Experience/Skills required

  • We are looking for volunteers who may have extensive experience and have some spare time as well as those people who need to develop their skills and confidence. 
  • Literacy, Numeracy and Basic ICT skills.

Requirements
Due to the sensitive nature of the information involved, we require volunteers to undergo DBS and comply to policies and procedures, in particular Confidentiality and Data Protection
